The new iPhone SE will be available to order on Friday, 17th April. It has an A13 Bionic, a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, Touch ID, and a 12-megapixel f/1.8 aperture Wide camera lens.

Disappointingly, it only comes in black, white, and PRODUCT(RED). I’ve always felt the iPhone SE range could follow the iPhone 5C approach, and have luminous colours. Black and white, in particular, seem uninspired.

That said, starting at $399, it’s a good deal.

Somewhat unexpectedly, the new iPad Magic Keyboard is available to order today and will begin arriving next week. My Smart Keyboard is peeling on the outside and, with iOS 13.4 bringing first-class trackpad support, I have the two reasons I need to order one.

As an aside: while working from home, I’ve been experimenting with using an iPad Pro full time. The Office suite is there, Teams is there, MDM is there, but what I felt was lacking was a tremendous first-party keyboard and mouse experience.

I hope this is it.
